Deux Alpes

Deux Alpes are an electronic music duo based in Milan. The band have performed in many italian festivals and opened the italian gig of Roosevelt and Blue Hawaii. Their name is a tribute to the historic Grenoble stage of the 1998 Tour de France, won by Marco Pantani. Those mountains have a very important metaphorical meaning for the band, starting from the heroic enterprise of the runners who climb it, a peak, towards the sky and the border between Italy and France. The sound of Deux Alpes has its roots in the ’80s, but you can hear clearer references taken from the following decade, all enclosed within an attitude, in making music, that mixes identities and cultures to not belong to anything, they have their own and personal sound field, recognizable after the first listening.
